SCADA & HMI
At MWCS, we understand how the visual aspect of a process makes our software user-friendly for our clients. This is why we make our Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) terminals as clear and easy to understand as possible. MWCS uses general display products and tailors them to suit each client’s individual needs and use our experience in SCADA and HMI systems to maximize software capabilities. Using our libraries of templates and objects, MWCS significantly reduces the development time of our SCADA and HMI systems.

As a result, MWCS is able to integrate and modify existing third-party codes to suit modifications in processes.
TESTING & SIMULATION
Regardless of the size or cost of any project, we test rigorously to ensure that the systems are working correctly and that we maximize the potential of the process. All systems are tested and validated for functionality, fault reaction, data logging, and operator interface. Detailed process modeling can be achieved by using our vast library of standard plant devices. Our testing will allow clients to see their process working before we install it. The systems reaction to faults can be observed, and reports and data logs can be produced during testing. Records of testing are also kept so our clients can see what was tested, when it was tested, and by whom, which allows full traceability.
TURNKEY PROJECT SERVICES
We are strong supporters of teamwork and communication, so we know exactly what our customer wants and we can establish firm deadlines and budgets. From the beginning of our projects to the final sign-offs, MWCS works with and assists other disciplines involved. We make sure that our co-contractors have a clear understanding of what we want to do, and we work in conjunction with other disciplines’ requirements. All our projects are overseen by a project manager who organizes our team of engineers and ensures we reach our customers’ requirements.
MWCS engineers are experienced users of industry applications such as Rockwell’s RSSQL and Wonderware’s INSQL. These versatile packages are capable of everything from simple data logging to complex process architectures, offering two-way data between the software and plant floor. We use our own data logging applications that can be customized to suit clients’ needs. These generally capture data via DDE or OPC into SQL-Server or Microsoft Access databases. All software and databases designs are written with the goal of easy development, maintenance, and support. All of our database systems are compatible with Windows and are easily expandable.
