SCOPE
The Local Brew Company contracted MW Control Solutions to create a self-contained, fully automated 1bbl brewing system. The system was designed to fit onto a skid with wheels for portability and consists of a single vessel setup, utilizing a fermenter as a holding tank for grain out before boil/whirlpool.
Our scope for the above equipment included the following:
Engineered P&ID
Procurement, Shipping of Parts/Equipment
Chiller setup for heat exchanger and fermenter cooling
RIMS heated HLT with custom flexible steam piping
Sanitary Welding of key components
Mechanical Engineering with full installation
Electrical Engineering with MCC panel and automation hardware, including wiring of all pumps, burners, etc
Plumbing of water supply
Full automation controls for brewing process
